As soon as you start playing Wuthering Waves, you'll quickly realize that the game gives quite a lot of characters for free. While you get some four-star units like Yangyang, Chixia, or Baizhi simply by progressing the story, you can also get some, like Sanhua, by continuously logging into the game.

Sanhua is a Glacio DPS unit wielding a sword as her weapon, but the best part about her is that she can also act as a support for your main DPS. Apart from all this, once Sanhua is built properly, you'll also have quite a satisfying time playing as her.

As if being a free four-star unit wasn't already good enough, Sanhua also comes with quite a variety of weapon choices even at launch. However, none of these weapons can buff all important parts of her kit. You'll just have to pick one and change your play style based on that:
Emerald Of Genesis | If you have this standard five-star sword, you can get some Energy Regen and extra ATK from it. However, the best stat you get here is the Crit Rate for upgrading the weapon. |

Commando Of Conviction | After putting this weapon on Sanhua, you can try to trigger as many Intro Skills on her as possible to get a regular ATK bonus. Intro Skill is one of the important aspects of her kit as well, so this works out perfectly. |
Lumingloss | Quite a lot of your damage will come out of your Basic and Heavy attacks, and getting a boost in the DMG increase for them using this sword makes it one of her best in slot. |
Sword Of Night | This is essentially the three-star variant of Commando of Conviction, giving you a similar effect. |
Sword Of Voyager | Finally, Sword of Voyager can be used to get Sanhua's Resonance Liberation faster, which will help you make use of her Forte Circuit more often. |
Sanhua Echo Guide
When it comes to finding echoes for a character, you have to keep two things in mind: main echo and set bonuses. You can work on the first one from the start of the game, but there's hardly a need to focus on set bonuses until you're at least Union Level 30 or higher since they're relatively difficult to put together.
When it comes to the main echo, you can freely go with Lampylumen Myriad while building Sanhua. Not only does this one deal a ton of AoE DMG, but also increases her Glacio and Resonance Skill DMG. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a lot of choices for the set bonuses that suit her:

Echo Stat Priority
During the early game, you should always focus on getting specific main stats more than anything else for all characters including Sanhua. Here are all the stats you should get for each type of echo:

Common (Cost 1) | ATK Percent |
You should look for the stats mentioned above even on sub-stats for Sanhua's echo apart from some Energy Regen and any type of DMG bonus.
Best Team Members For Sanhua
The best part about building Sanhua is that you have various F2P and five-star options for her team synergy. Here are the main ones:
Verina | This is an all-rounder character that goes well with everyone because of her healing and all-type DMG boost. |

Baizhi | If you don't have Verina, Baizhi can provide you with similar buffs but less in quantity since she's a four-star. |
Taoqi | Taoqi gives Sanhua damage reduction while also increasing her Resonance Skill DMG with the Outro Skill. |
Yangyang | This unit can allow Sanhua to get her Resonance Liberation get much faster, especially if you're using Emerald of Genesis or Sword of Voyager. |
Jianxin | Jianxin can be slotted in the third slot alongside Sanhua and Yangyang as she'll boost Sanhua's Liberation DMG. |

After the end of the launch phase, the resources you'll get for playing Wuthering Waves will decrease quite a lot. This makes it important to not overspend these resources, especially your Waveplate, on any character. Unfortunately, you'll have to spend quite a few of these on Sanhua since she's an all-rounder DPS.
You can start with her Forte Circuit since her Detonate ability will deal most of the damage on the field. This can be followed by her Resonance Skill and Liberation in any order. Finally, you can upgrade her Intro Skill and keep the Basic Attack on around level six.
If you're using Sanhua's Liberation-focused play style, you can upgrade that before the Skill.
