In this Hitman 2 guide, we’ll walk you through the seven Mission Stories to complete during “The Finish Line” in Miami.

These Stories are all ways for Agent 47 to complete his mission to kill Robert and Sierra Knox at the Global Innovation race. Below, we’ll talk about A Perfect Machine, Intravenous, Pretty in Pink, The Munchies, The New Army, The Triumph, and Turbo Charged, including how to start each Story, items you’ll need to find, and locations you’ll need to visit.

A Perfect Machine

A Perfect Machine Mission Story is a method of taking out Sierra Knox. It will prevent you from completing the Stories Intravenous, Pretty in Pink, and The Triumph. You’ll have to do this one pretty early in the level, before the race is over.

Head south (up on the map — north is down for some reason) from the entrance toward the stands. You’ll have to pass through security if you take the direct route, so dump anything illegal.

Stay along the lower side (nearest the track) of the stands, and approach the start/finish line. You’ll spot a Kronstadt Mechanic in the crowd. Follow him as he walks away and listen to his conversation.

After he hangs up, he’ll head into a cluster of port-a-potties. You’ll be out of sight on the far side, so subdue him, grab his disguise, and stash him in the dumpster along the right side. Make sure you grab the Pit Area Keycard he drops.

Head through the VIP Area Square to the west (right on the map) and follow the red carpet into the building. Take a left, and use the keycard to unlock the door to the Kronstadt Garage.

You need to find a pneumatic wrench. There’re two of them in the room to the south (up on the map) where two mechanics are working under a car on a lift. One of them is an enforcer. Throw something as a distraction — or drop the car on them — and pick up one of the wrenches.

Take your pneumatic wrench back to the first room of the garage. Speak to the chief mechanic, a woman standing in the middle of the room who will call out to you.

Head toward the garage doors. Interact with the toolbox/workbench there to prepare for pit stop and look to the right. Choose to loosen tire using the pneumatic wrench, and then let the pit stop play out. That will complete A Perfect Machine.

Intravenous

The Intravenous Mission Story is a method of taking out Sierra Knox. It will prevent you from completing the Stories A Perfect Machine, Pretty in Pink, and The Triumph. You’ll have to wait until after the race is over to complete this one.

We’re going to lead you in an odd direction at first and through a couple quick disguise changes, but we promise it’s in service of getting through this Mission Story without raising suspicion.

From the entrance, head left (east — north is down on the map) into the Bayside Tunnel. At the other end, take a quick right to enter the Parking Garage — look for a news van parked out front. Grab the crowbar on your way past.

Head straight south (up on the map), past the guy in the mascot disguise (who will start the Pretty in Pink Mission Story), and into the hall behind him.

Continue past the guy he beat up, and take a left into a storage room. Put on the Event Crew disguise from the shelves. Continue out the other side of the room, and make your way up (south) to the Podium Tunnel.

Take a right at the intersection, and head up to ground level. Follow the pink carpet straight until you stop at the Emergency Bay — don’t step past the railing or you’ll be trespassing.

Stand at the fence and eavesdrop on the two medics to (finally) start the Intravenous Mission Story. Once they’re done, turn right and head toward the garages.

Walk through the gate, and turn left to step behind the van there. Use your Instinct to watch for the mechanic on the other side of the fence. Distract or avoid him, and climb over the fence. Turn left and then left again, and head through the door.

Dodge the security camera (or don’t), and turn off the generator to the right. Wait for the medic to come out and check on the distraction. Subdue him, steal his disguise, and stash his body in the dumpster behind you.

Head through the door and into the Emergency Bay. Continue through to the reception area. Look for the Medical Cabinet Key on the desk to your left, and then head through the Medical Staff Only door on the left as well. In there, use the Medical Cabinet Key to open the cabinet and grab the Modern Lethal Syringe. (There’s also a Lethal Poison Pill Jar here if you want to complete The Munchies later.)

Take the syringe back to the treatment room — the first room you entered — and get rid of the current patient. He’s a mechanic and should get back there about the same time you do. Stuff him in the cabinet, and then poison the IV drip.

Head back out front to the intercom on the desk. You’ll have to wait for the race to finish before you can call Sierra Knox — usually about 7 minutes in or so. When the prompt is ready, call her to the medical area and wait for her to arrive.

When she comes in, talk to her and escort her back. When she sits, attach the IV. That will complete the Intravenous Mission Story and kill Sierra Knox.

Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink Mission Story is a method of taking out Sierra Knox. It will prevent you from completing the Stories A Perfect Machine, Intravenous, and The Triumph. You’ll have to wait until after the race is over to complete this one.

From the entrance, head for the Parking Garage. You can go through the main entrance, or loop through the Bayside Tunnel and then down the next tunnel to the right.

In the Parking Garage, you’ll spot a hard-to-miss man in a flamingo Mascot disguise on the phone. Listen to him to start the Pretty in Pink Mission Story.

Head past him and into the hall. At the intersection, pick up the Electronic Car Key. Turn around, go subdue the Mascot, and put on his disguise. Drag him into the parking garage and you’ll find a dumpster to the east where you can stash him.

Head north through the parking garage, and then take a right along the main path through — at the C12 pillar. At the end of that lane, you’ll see the Mascot’s van parked in the handicapped spots at B07. Use the key to unlock the van, and grab the incriminating evidence.

Head south (up on the map) through the parking lot to the Podium Tunnel. Take a right and head back topside in the Race Marshall Area. Take a left at the top of the stairs and cross the street. You’ll spot a Kronstadt Security guard at the entrance to the Hotel Garden. Talk to him and show him the evidence.

In the garden, find a seat and wait for Sierra Knox to finish the race. Eventually (several minutes later), she’ll show up and approach you.

Follow her into a alley (always a good idea) to talk. Once she sends her bodyguards away, subdue her and toss her into the open shaft on the right of the alley. That will kill her and complete the Pretty in Pink Mission Story.

The Munchies

The Munchies Mission Story is a method of interacting with Robert Knox. Depending on how you complete it, it won’t necessarily kill him, so you can still complete The New Army or Turbo Charged afterward. Or you can just kill him. You’ll be able to pick up poison during both Intravenous and The Triumph, so this Mission Story pairs well with those. (We’ll point out a place to pick up more poison without any disguises and minimal subduing in the walkthrough below.)

From the entrance, cut through the Bayside Tunnel over to the expo center side of the map. Cut across the front of the expo center/aquarium to far side, and follow the building around to the far side between the tunnel to the parking garage and the Podium Building.

Vault over the fence to the left of the parking garage tunnel. There are two Race Marshals in the area to your right. Avoid them or take them out (you’ll also be in this area during The Triumph Mission Story).

Head around to the front of the van the Race Marshal was checking out, and look for a door (next to the open garage door).

Open it, and take a right to the back of the van so the two engineers don’t see you. There’s some Emetic Rat Poison on a barrel against the wall.

Pick it up and head back out toward the Marina Park SE.

Right where the Marina Park SE is marked on the map, look for a couple sitting on a bench and talking. Eavesdrop on their conversation to start The Munchies Mission Story.

Run south (up on the map) along the water toward the pier. You’ll find Florida Man fishing there. Make sure no one’s watching, and take him out. Put on his disguise, and stash him in the crate at the end of the pier. Make sure you pick up the Food Vendor Key he drops.

Head back and open the Florida Man Food Stand. Serve the coconut balls for a few minutes while you wait for Robert Knox. He’ll make his way down eventually (usually around three minutes after you open the stand).

Poison the coconut balls with the rat poison — you can poison them directly in front of him and he won’t notice — and serve them to Robert. This completes The Munchies Mission Story.

When he gets sick, he’ll head to the water. His bodyguard will turn his back to give Robert some privacy while he hurls. At that point, just walk up behind him and kick him into the water to take him out.

The New Army

The New Army Mission Story is a method of taking out Robert Knox. It will prevent you from completing the Stories The Munchies and Turbo Charged.

Head to the Bayside Center Entrance in the northeast (bottom left — north is down on the map) of the map outside of the expo center and aquarium. A man in a military uniform will approach the waterfront and make a phone call. That’s Ted Mendez, and he’s where you’ll start this story.

After his call, follow him north (down) along the waterfront. When he stops to smoke, make sure the guard and civilian you passed aren’t looking at you. Subdue him, steal his clothes, and drag him directly west (right on the map) into the small, closed-off gardening area. There’s a woodchipper (deactivated) to stash him in.

Head through the front door of the expo center/aquarium and approach the front desk. The receptionist will greet you and direct you to the stairs on your right. You can grab the Ted Mendez Picture ID intel from the counter behind her if you want (but you won’t need it). Head up the stairs, turn left at the top, and follow the signs to the demonstration area (the first hall on your right).

Instead of walking into the Android Showroom, take another (hard) right. Follow the hall to the end — no one will bother you — to the bulletin board and copy machine. Pick up the Photo of Robert Knox, and head back to the showroom.

You’ll be greeted by a scientist named Derek who will call Robert Knox down to the showroom where he’ll give “Ted” a pitch about his new military androids. When he tells you to choose a photo off the table, scan the Photo of Robert Knox instead.

The android will do your work for you, completing The New Army, and you can walk out the front door.

The Triumph

The Triumph Mission Story is a method of taking out Sierra Knox. It will prevent you from completing the Stories A Perfect Machine, Intravenous, and Pretty in Pink. You can do all the steps for this one pretty quickly, but have to wait until after the race finishes before it will complete (about 10 minutes).

From the entrance, head to the east (left on the map) through the Bayside Tunnel. On the expo center/aquarium side, continue south (up on the map) along the water to the food stands near the pier.

You’ll spot a Race Marshal and a Race Coordinator having a conversation next to the food stalls. Listen to them to start The Triumph Mission Story.

Head back to the area between the Podium Building and the expo center/aquarium — it’s just east (left on the map) of the finish line. Hop the fence, and stand directly under the security camera.

Watch for a Race Marshal to approach the van on the other side of the wall. While he’s got his back to you, subdue him and steal his disguise. There’s a dumpster in front of the van where you can stash his body.

Before you leave, look for a door into the garage near the front of the van. Open it and head through. Take a right and hide behind the van inside. (There’s rat poison here, like we pointed out in The Munchies). Wait for the two engineers to finish their conversation.

When one leaves, sneak to the shelves along the right side to pick up a wrench. Sneak out through the open garage door, and take a right.

Head up the stairs to the stand overlooking the finish line. Take out the Race Marshal there, and blend in as a Race Marshal to pick up the flag. Hit the button prompt to disqualify Marshall Lee when he passes to end the race.

Drop the flag, and head down the stairs. Take a right at the bottom, and another right through the gate. Follow the hedges along the edge of the race track to the left.

At the center point of the Podium Building, you’ll spot some pipes and valves on your left. Override the pressure lock with your wrench, and then adjust the gas pressure on all three pipes to the right.

That will complete The Triumph Mission Story. You’ll have to wait for a while until Sierra makes her way up there and the pyrotechnics go off until she dies, so it’s a good time to go take out Robert Knox.

Turbo Charged

Turbo Charged Mission Story is a method of taking out Robert Knox. It will prevent you from completing the Stories The New Army and The Munchies.

Head to the aquarium and expo center in the northeast (bottom left — north is down on the map), and enter through the front door (you won’t need a special disguise to get in).

Just inside the doors, take a left and look for the Coat Check room. Step (vault) over the counter to climb into the room. There’s a Kronstadt Engineer disguise along the right side of the room. Put that on, and head back out.

Head over to the Expo Room side of the building, and look for the bright red Kronstadt prototype race car.

Look for a couple engineers having a conversation nearby, and listen to their conversation to start the Turbo Charged Mission Story.

Take a right from the prototype car, and head backstage. Follow the hallway to the right, past a security camera, and through the maintenance/employees only door. In the next room, grab the screwdriver off the bookcase.

Turn around and head back to the south (up on the map) along the hallway. At the other end of the hall, go through the double doors you come to (there’s a KEEP CLEAR painted on the floor).

Take a left, and follow the walkway around to the shelves in the far corner. Watch out for the engineers down in the loading dock — one of them is an enforcer. Pick up the Kronstadt Octane Booster from the shelf, and then head back to the prototype car.

Head to the back of the car, and sabotage the engine with the screwdriver and then pour the Kronstadt Octane Booster. Another engineer (Smith) will approach and try to start the car. When it doesn’t work, he’ll call Robert Knox down.

Climb into the driver’s seat and wait. Knox will show up (eventually) and fiddle with the engine for a bit. Follow the prompts to start the engine every time he asks. On the third try, the engine will blow up a little bit, killing Knox and completing Turbo Charged. You’re free to walk out the front door afterward.
